The Cosiest Prague Bars
Like most European capitals, Prague has its fair share of old buildings, particularly located in its enchanting Old Town neighborhood. Old buildings tend to have nice cellars and it’s in these cellars you’ll find Prague’s lovely cozy bars.
Prague summers are hot and underground is probably the last place you’ll want to be. But come autumn and winter, things can get a little chilly and it’s downstairs you’ll be wanting to go for a drink.`
So here’s a guide to some of the coziest Prague bars….
U Sedmi Švábů
U Sedmi Švábů has a Medieval feel to it as you descend the stairs. On the menu, you’ll find plenty of hearty Czech dishes all served with a lovely frothy Czech beer. Fatten up to keep the winter cold away.
Parlour
A little more up-market, Parlour is a popular cocktail haunt in the downtown. Small, cozy and with an interesting clientele, this is a great place for a quiet chat with a good friend over some hard liquor.
Diego pivní bar
Boasting itself as one of only 2 places you can drink craft beer in Karlin, this basement bar can be a little hard to find if you don’t know what you’re looking for – so consult your map beforehand. On the plus side, this means it’s not brimming with tourists day and night. Diego pivní bar
